6 questions
Is OLDENSOUK hardware really solid brass?
Yes. Our faucets, shelving, rails and hardware are made from solid brass, never brass-plated steel or zinc. Lighting and sinks are made in solid brass or copper, as noted on each product.
Does unlacquered brass tarnish?
Unlacquered brass is a living finish: it slowly darkens into a warm patina where it is touched and exposed to air. This is natural, not damage. If you prefer the original shine, a little brass polish brings it back at any time. Read our brass care guide.
Can you make a piece in my size or finish?
Yes. Most pieces can be made to custom dimensions and in nine finishes, including aged, satin and polished brass, copper, bronze, nickel and black. Start a custom order with your measurements and we will reply with a drawing and quote.
Where are your pieces made and how long does delivery take?
Everything is handmade in our Marrakech workshop. Most orders are made within 7–14 business days, then shipped by DHL Express: usually 5–8 business days to the USA and Canada, and 4–7 to Europe.
Will I pay customs duties or import taxes?
No. We ship worldwide Delivered Duty Paid (DDP), so duties and taxes are included and shipping is free. There is nothing extra to pay on delivery.
Do you work with interior designers and architects?
Yes. Our trade program offers trade pricing, custom sizes and finishes, and project support for designers, architects and hospitality projects.
